Moving is Exhausting

My apologies for keeping my public waiting, but this moving business has me plum tuckered out. We went from house to house for over a week and when we finally got to ours, I just couldn' t keep my eyes open anymore. Maybe it's all the fresh air. Anyway, I hope to tell you all about my trip soon.

Goodbyes

Tonight I had a bunch of friends over so that I could say goodbye before I move to Tennessee.
Jereme's an old friend. He's stayed at my house before. He's also taken me bowling and shown me how to play croquet. He hopes that one day I'll become a Vulcan.

This is Carnie and Eric. Eric is my friend from dad's lab and Carnie is his wife (but she's my friend, too). I got to see Eric graduate a few weeks ago. Carnie graduated the same day, but I was too cranky to stick around for that.
Here are Martha and John. I went to celebrate their wedding with them a few weeks ago. Martha is mom's friend from her old job. I'm glad I met John, too.
These are my old pals Mercedes, Brooke, and Drew. They moved to Charlotte a few months ago but came back this week for Mercedes' job, so they came to visit.

The last time I saw Drew he was just starting to cruise around on furniture and now he can walk and everything! We played a little bit together, although I was more interested in chewing on his shoes than anything else. I think he likes me, though. He walked up to me and put my foot in his mouth. I'll ask him about that when we both learn to talk.

Bye bye everyone! Come to visit!

Rockin'

Mom has been negligent in posting adorable pictures of me, so here's one from our trip to Tennessee a few weeks ago. Gran pulled out her rocking chair from when she was a little girl, which was then mom's chair when she was a little girl. Amazing how it fits just right.

If left on my own, however, I can guarantee that I would have rocked myself right out of it and faceplanted on the floor. Faceplants are my specialty these days.

Where My Dogs At?

Just a quick note to let you all know that I LOVE PUPPIES!

First, I met Milton last week at church. He's my friend Melissa's 8-week-old beagle. He let me pull on his ears and poke him a lot.

Then I met Giggles. She belongs to my friends Cheryl and Annetta. She's a daschund/maltese mix and I like her a lot. She let me grab her face and pull it really hard. She didn't even care!

Last night I met Hershey. She belongs to my friends David and Sam. We took some time to warm up to each other, but then she let me rub her. I wanted to pull on her, but mom helped me pet her. Maybe one day dad will let me have a puppy of my own!
