Punkin'

It turns out that we don't have a pumpkin patch anywhere close to our house, so mom and dad bought me my first pumpkin at the Farmer's Market last Saturday. I'm not sure what the big deal is...it doesn't make noises or light up, and if I try to pull myself up on it it just rolls over. But anyway, here it is.

Has Anyone Seen My Bean?

I'm pretty sure I put it down here somewhere.

Scenes from Saturday

The pictures really say it all.

I apologize that they're blurry, but that's because I was in motion, baby. Moe-SHUN!

Summer Breeze

Last Wednesday was probably the last day we'll have worthy of a day at the park, so that's where we spent it!

First Mexican Dinner

The chicken was a little too spicy for my taste, but pass me some more of those black beans!

Busy Weekend

First, my Pop came into town to help mom and dad landscape the yard. But before he could do that I had to show him how to zip zippers, button buttons, snap snaps, and tie bows.
Then I took him to Lambuth to have barbeque with my cousin David and the AOII cuties. After lunch dad took me to find some nature. Only then did I finally let Pop use my lawnmower and tiller to do the work mom and dad signed him up for.

On Sunday my best aunt Kelly came by to see me for a few minutes. And then I got the best surprise of all...

SARAH!

Sarah's mom came, too, and brought a PUPPY! Marty, the puppy, was just my size and we wore each other out tearing around the living room. I've never actually had anyone hide from me before, but Marty seemed pretty determined to get away. I can't figure out why. Sarah spent the night at my house and played with me and fed me and tickled me and kissed me...I can't wait to see her again!

Watch Me Work

Mom and her friend Jason had the big idea to take me and Amanda on a picnic today. It was a good plan, in theory, except that a big cold front came through last night and it was downright chilly today. Amanda and I didn't really want to stay at the park, but mom and Jason weren't done visiting, so they took us to Wal-Mart. At least it was warm. And a couple of times I got a few minutes alone with Amanda. What do you think? Does it look like she's diggin' me?

Take That, West Tennessee State Fair

You may have read on my mom's blog how disappointed she and dad were with the West Tennessee State Fair. This weekend I took them to the Air Show to help alleviate some of their pain. It was a good plan, if I do say so myself. We got there late enough that we didn't have to pay the admission fee, and the only planes left to watch were the A-10s (because what good is going if you don't get to see military planes--at least that's what dad says). But the best part was the PETTING ZOO! I didn't get to pet a single animal at the fair, but at the Air Show I got to pet goats and camels and bunnies and ducks and llamas and pigs and yaks and zebus (which are not a cross between a zebra and an emu). I can't remember when I've had so much fun. Then again, I can't remember yesterday, but you get the point. Anyway, here are pictures. Here I am with a cow-yak, which is exactly what it sounds like.
And here I am with goats. Maybe I'll get one of my own someday!

In the Jungle, the Mighty Jungle

I got to spend some quality time outside with mom yesterday while she was harvesting turnip and kale greens for dinner. Can you find me?

Rub-A-Dub-Dub

One man in a tub (a basket, really). You can call me The Baker.
