Hi Terri!

A few weeks ago we went to visit Gran at her school. I was very excited to meet everyone, but one of the people I really wanted to meet wasn't there. Her name is Terri and she's given my mom lots of advice via Gran. So we sat at Terri's desk and went through her things! Maybe that'll teach her not to be out the day I come visit!

Lori Who?

Last week Pop took me and mom and dad to the Nashville Zoo! We found these crazy guys called Lorikeets. On the way in to the aviary we had an opportunity to buy a little cup of nectar for $1 so that we could feed the birds. Then we found out that if you stand close enough to the handler who's feeding them fruit leather they'll come to you anyway. Pretty neat, huh?

Ring, Ring!

How about that! A call on my new plastic phone that came with this great activity table!
Ha! (Translation: "Hello"). Oh, you'd like to speak to my mom? She's right here.
Uh! (Translation: Uh-oh!) Dropped the call! Maybe they'll call back!

New Stats!

Just when I thought the birthday celebration was over, my mom took me to the doctor for shots! What a fabulous surprise!

Anyway, I'm now 21 lbs., 6 oz., 29.5 inches long, and my head is 18 3/4 inches around. The doctor says I'm so skinny because I never stop moving. Here's my new favorite activity that I figured out all by myself. When mom's putting away laundry I climb up on the step to the jacuzzi tub and turn the faucet on, off, on, off, on, off...

Happy Birthday To Me!

I'm one today! My mom and dad threw me a John Deere birthday party on Saturday and a lot of people came to celebrate with me! We had dinner and I opened presents and we had cake. Here's a picture of the cupcake cake that my dad made.

There were healthy carrot muffins with yogurt cheese frosting for me (and anyone else who wanted them), and real carrot cakes with cream cheese frosting (the same recipe dad used for mom and dad's wedding) for everyone else. Here I am eating my birthday cupcake. I didn't have any interest in smashing it. I was more interested in seeing if I could jam the whole thing in my mouth. Dad helped me refine my table manners.

I got lots of great presents and got to see some of my favorite people. Mom's already popped a few Tylenol since a lot of my toys require batteries and make fun sounds. I'm sure she'll eventually get used to it.

Happy Birthday!

Today is a very special day! It’s my Pop’s birthday! About this time last year my mom and dad were hoping it would be my birthday, too. But it wasn’t meant to be. Anyway, here are some pictures of me and Pop.

It’s also my pal David’s birthday, too! He’s three! I don’t know what that means, but I’m happy for him anyway. You can see a picture of me and David (and his big sister Sydney) here.

I hope everyone has a great birthday!

Happy Halloween!

Check out my very first pumpkin! Mom carved it just for me!

I heard that my Pop was going to dress up like Phil Fulmer to go trick-or-treating tonight, so I decided to dress as Phil, Jr. I didn't actually go trick-or-treating, of course, since I had a date with my crib, but I tried to get into the spirit!

I hope everyone had a great Halloween!
