Water World! (With apologies to Dr. Seuss)

The sun did not shine. It was too cold to play. So I stayed in the house and got hypothermia anyway.

OK, not really. But it was too cold to play outside and I was driving mom bonkers. So she got out the biggest quilt she could find, loaded it up with all of the plastic/metal/indestructible kitchen items she could get her hands on, and let me go to town.

We had a pretty good system. I'd soak through one corner of the quilt and then she'd move me to a dry spot. After about an hour we ran out of dry spots, but I was just about finished anyway. And she was excited because she got work done. She doesn't know the half of it...

Hey Cutie!

Can I interest you in some cheese? Maybe a trip to the library later?

Chopsticks

The other night mom stir-fried some chicken and mom and dad ate with chopsticks. I didn't want to miss out on the fun, so after hollering my trademark, "I do, I do, I do" for a few moments they finally relented. First, I checked out dad for guidance.
And then I dug in! My technique needs some tweaking, but I didn't starve!
It took some work, but I made it happen. I don't think it's the most efficient way to feed myself right now, but it may be an option down the road.

Whatever My Daddy Can Do...

Almost every morning my Vati straps me into my Baby Bjorn so he can make breakfast without my "help." I decided I wanted to try it to. There's no baby for me to tote around (yet), but my big purple ball does the trick for now.
