Little Artists

A few weekends ago we went to the Harvest Arts Festival at Lambuth. They had all sorts of crafty things for little kids to do. It wasn't quite my speed, but Joshua seemed to enjoy making his own tambourine at the symphony table. Vati and I? We just sat in the grass and looked at the leaves.

Little Monkey

We went to Gran and Mike's house a few weekends ago for Mama's birthday. Joshua climbed his first tree with a little help from Mike.

Boo!

Just wanted to let everyone know that we had a great Halloween! I got the sweet end of the deal, by the way. This is Joshua's third Halloween but his first year to go trick-or-treating. Me? I got the goods on my second Halloween. Who says being the youngest is a bad deal?
Joshua wanted to be a pumpkin, so guess what I was? Maybe I'll learn to talk before next year so I can put it my own request. Here we are modeling our costumes. I got to wear mine to Kindermusik and Joshua got to wear his to school. He couldn't wait to take his off. I screamed when I couldn't leave mine on.
One night after I went to bed Joshua and Mama carved a pumpkin. Joshua designed it on the computer and Mama did the sharp stuff, but it looked pretty nice when it was all done.
Then we went to our friend Charlie's grandma's house to trick-or-treat. Mama made my treat bag the size of a sock, so I was done after about four houses. Joshua didn't make it much longer than that. We both had to be carried home. Do people really stay up past 6:30? I'm not sure how it's possible.
