Today we went to Evanston for dad's graduation. Here he is with
LIMS uncle Eric, who finished his dissertation last Fall but didn't get the chance to be hooded until today.

It probably won't surprise you to hear that I didn't make it through the whole ceremony. I hung out and listened to the music beforehand and watched dad process, but that's about all I could manage. Mom and I played in the hallway for awhile before we went back in to see dad get his hood, and then we had to leave again. They were simulcasting the ceremony in a lecture hall nearby, so I took a seat and watched the big TV. The desk is a little big for me, but I think I'll grow into it.

If my head keeps growing, I might eventually grow into this, too.
